Non-violent struggle
"Today, a Jew from any country can move to Israel, while a Palestinian refugee, with a valid claim to property in Israel, cannot". I don't see how two states will emerge from sixty years of chaos and non-democracy. And this goes for both sides, not just Israel and its repeated treading on UN resolutions. When the current grand mufti of Jerusalem considers suicide bombings as a "legitimate" means of resistance by Palestinians, when (too) few seem to find this "never justified", I am not optimistic, to say the least. Please watch Srdja Popovic's inspirational and short talk at Google Zeitgeist 2012 which I had the chance to see live: non-violent struggle has a 53% chance of success (based on the analysis of 323 campaigns over a century) vs. 26% in the case of violent struggles. Why limit your chances? Who's Srdja? He was the leader of the civic youth movement which got rid of Serbian war criminal Milosevic. Download his free guide to non-violent struggle.
