The Raid: Redemption
Indonesian movie The Raid: Redemption surprised me with interesting filming techniques: slow motions, well mastered low light scenes (in particular the anti-terrorist team is betrayed by the brief burst of light from firing one gunshot in the dark) and a very captivating music soundtrack. The (very good) movie is packed full with suspense, action and plethora of scenes showcasing traditional Indonesian martial art Pencak Silat: it's a refreshing change from the usual American blockbusters – you won't be disappointed and you won't be able to wait for number 2. Take a look at the trailer embedded below – and grab your armchair.
